Biography: 
Chor Foon TANG is currently a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) student of Economics at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya (UM). He received his Bachelor of Economics (BEc.) with Honours from the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 2003 and Master of Economic Management (MEc.Mgmt.) from the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2007. Prior to his pursuit of the Doctorate degree of Economics at the University of Malaya, he lectured and tutored at the UUM College of Arts and Sciences, Universiti Utara Malaysia, at the School of Social Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and at the School of Arts and Social Sciences, KDU College. The courses he taught include undergraduate and postgraduate programmes such as (1) Principles of Economics, (2) Macroeconomics, (3) Microeconomics I, (4) Introductory to Statistics Economics, (5) Applied Statistics and Econometrics, (6) Applied Econometrics (postgraduate programme), and (7) Statistics for Economics and Finance II (Keele University programme). In addition to his teaching experiences, Mr. Tang started his research activities in 2006 and he has published his research works in major international and local peer-reviewed journals. Moreover, he is also a reviewer and editorial board member for a wide range of international and local scholarly journals. His biography was selected to list in the  28th Edition of Who's Who in the World, a compilation of biographies of most accomplished individuals from 215 countries  and territories in the World. Apart from this, his biography was also selected to list in the 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. On top of that, he was awarded the Bright Sparks Scholarship in 2010 by the University of Malaya,  the Academic Training Fellowship to National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2009, and the USM Fellowship Scheme in 2008 by the Universiti Sains Malaysia.  Since December 2010, he was listed as Top 25% of registered economists in Malaysia and also in Asia. Moreover, he was also listed as Top 100 Young Economists registered with RePEc in June 2011.
